Terms of use and privacy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

rollavpn ("the software") is free, open-source software for setting up a WireGuard VPN server you pay for. By using it, here or on your own machine, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

1. No warranty

The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, availability and non-infringement. We don't promise it works, is bug-free, or keeps you secure, private or anonymous.

2. You are responsible for how you use it

3. Costs and accounts

Servers are created in your account with a third-party provider, and you pay them directly. You are responsible for every charge, including server time and bandwidth, and for deleting servers you no longer want. We don't process payments, can't issue refunds, and aren't party to your agreement with any provider.

4. Keys, tokens and save files

Keys are made in your browser, and tokens are only sent to your provider. You are responsible for keeping your tokens, configs and save files secure. Anyone who gets them may be able to use your VPN or control your provider account. We never receive them and can't recover them.

5. Privacy and anonymity are not guaranteed

A VPN can't make you anonymous by itself. Your provider, the sites you visit and others may still identify you through payments, network monitoring, fingerprinting or logins. A server that keeps no logs can't stop the hardware's owner from watching it. Nothing on this site is legal, security or professional advice. Don't rely on the software where your safety or liberty depends on it.

6. Third-party services

The software works with services we don't control, including cloud providers, SporeStack, Cloudflare WARP, the WireGuard apps and the DNS blocklist. We aren't responsible for them, their charges or what they do with your data, and we aren't affiliated with or endorsing any of them. WireGuard is a registered trademark of Jason A. Donenfeld. Other trademarks belong to their owners.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors of rollavpn are not liable for any damages or losses of any kind arising from or related to the software or your use of it. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential and punitive damages; lost profits, data or funds; provider charges; account suspensions; security breaches; and legal claims against you, even if we were told such damages were possible. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the software, which is zero.

8. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the authors and contributors of rollavpn from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the software, your servers or traffic through them, or your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party terms.

9. Privacy notice

10. License

The source code is under the MIT License. These terms add to it. If they conflict, the MIT License governs your rights to the code.

11. Changes

We may change these terms by updating this page. Using the software after a change means you accept it. The software may change or go away without notice.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the software must be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Failing to enforce a term isn't a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the software. Questions: rollavpn@proton.me.
